TOM STILTZ   

Stiltz has and international reputation for creative realism. Although his genres varied, his most collected paintings and editions are portraits of famous wines and liquors.  Stiltz has been commissioned by wineries, distributors and individual collectors to create paintings of favored brands. Stiltz is often asked how many hours it takes to complete a painting. In fact, it takes months, not hours. He uses a Dutch Masters style that requires multiple layers of glazed paints as he builds up the surface for each object and background. It's a dedication, almost devotion, that has grown out of Stiltz's love for the medium of oil paint.
